Association | Group Database Website
This package is designed especially for alpaca associations and groups. I provide long-term support as you learn how the databases work. You do not have to be a computer wiz to maintain these sites, and it would be easy to hand it off each year to a new secretary or webmaster.
Each site will include:
- Member's Only Site: This will allow the BOD to post vital information to their group without having it available to the general public.
- Site Map of their state: This will allow visitors to click on the region of the state they live in, and be taken to the member farms in that area. (5 – 6 regions per state)
- Membership Address Book: This is an easy way to keep track of all your members. This also allows BOD to send out email to one or all of the group. This can also provide an nice alphabetical page for the member's only site, making it easier for members to contact each other.
- Newsletter program: This will allow visitors to sign up for your newsletter. You can also enter your membership list to the database. There is a very nice simple html editor, so you can design and send html newsletters and e-blasts.
- Photo Gallery: This is a nice addition, and a great way to get members involved. Post pictures of your association's activities and events.
- Sales List: This is optional, but can be a nice added benefit for members.

- Farm Tips: Allow members to send in tips and ideas that have been helpful on their farm.
- BOD Minutes: Post your minutes in the member's section. This saves you time from having to email them out, and keeps members checking the site regularly.
- Upcoming Events: List all your upcoming events on-line. This is a great way for visitors to see what activities are coming up. (Have a separate Upcoming Events on the member's section. List BOD meeting and membership meetings, along with other important information.)

This is a complete package that includes your personal family domain name, 20MB of space, and 1 years worth of web hosting. The site includes three pages: home page, on-line blog, and a photo gallery. The blog can be set-up with a number of pages: Family Contacts, Reunion Plans, Baby Updates, Tina's Family, Pat's Family, Dates to Remember…. These are just a few possibilities. The journal pages can be tailored to meet your family needs.
The journal and photo gallery are database pages. These are pages that are specially designed to be easy to maintain and edit. Each family member can have their own account, so they can add pictures or journal entries. There is no special knowledge needed; if you can write an email you can use these simple database pages.
